How deep do the needles go?

The needles of Morpehus8 puncture only the topmost layer of skin, up to a depth of 8mm.

Is Morpheus8 the same as microneedling?

No. In fact, Morphsu8 combines the already effective technology of microneedling with the even more effective use of radiofrequency energy. You’ll see better results and get them even faster.

Is Morpheus8 painful?

No. While you may experience some discomfort or a prickling sensation from the ultra fine needles, a topical anesthetic is used to make the procedure as pain free as possible. Pain medication isn’t required after the procedure, but should you experience any unexpected pain or discomfort, don’t hesitate to ask how we can help you manage that.

How does the RF energy feel? Is it safe?

You’ll feel a nice warmth pervading the skin tissue in treated areas. It’s neither painful or dangerous and the surface of the skin isn’t excessively heated, thus preventing damage.

What can I expect after Morpheus8?

You might experience some slight swelling and irritation post procedure. Stronger reactions are extremely rare; most side effects are very mild.

When can I return to work or social activities?

Technically, no downtime or recovery is needed after Morpheus8. What that means is that unlike a surgery where you do want to limit your activity and get plenty of rest, Morpheus8 requires no such period. Your face may be reddish and feel warm for 1 - 3 days after your treatment session, but that mild discomfort tends to dissipate quickly on its own. (Most patients actually recover fully within a few hours.)
