Dermal Infusion is a top-rated, advanced treatment used as a safe and effective alternative to microdermabrasion. Using a diamond-tip device, Dermal Infusion exfoliates the skin’s surface, extracts dirt and debris from pores, and infuses the skin with serums prescribed by your doctor, based on your skin concerns.

How does Dermal Infusion work?

Dermal Infusion is a non-invasive skin treatment that combines three areas of skin rejuvenation: exfoliation, extraction, and serum infusion. Your technician will best determine a custom blend of serums for you based on your skin concerns and desired results. The Dermal Infusion device has a chamber that is loaded with your custom blend of serums, which are infused into your skin during the treatment. The pen-like instrument has a diamond-tipped head that exfoliates, plus a vacuum that dislodges dirt and debris from pores, while the hidden chamber infuses the serum blend into your freshly exfoliated skin.

The Dermal Infusion treatment

For approximately 20-30 minutes the device will be gently run across your skin, buffing away dead skin, sucking up dirt and oil, and infusing your skin with a combination of hydrating, brightening, and clarifying serums, dependent on the blend customized for you.

After the treatment, your skin will be glowing and appear smoother and plumper, without experiencing lasting redness or irritation. You can return to work immediately after the treatment, and results can be maintained by using exfoliators and masks at home as recommended. While you may have great results after the first session, most experts recommend four to six treatments every other week for the best results.

What are the benefits of Dermal Infusion?

Since Dermal Infusion combines the results of 3 types of facial rejuvenation treatments, the benefits of Dermal Infusion are plentiful. From radiant, glowing skin to the lightening of dark spots and smoothing of fine lines, Dermal Infusion is a powerhouse among non-invasive treatment options.

Benefits of Dermal Infusion

  • Promotes healthy skin cell turnover for a rejuvenated complexion
  • Lessens the appearance of dark spots, acne scars, and sun damage
  • Gently smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Diminishes acne with the removal of dirt and oil from pores

Am I a good candidate for Dermal Infusion?

Almost anyone is a good candidate for Dermal Infusion. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin, hydrates dry complexions, smooths aging skin, and clarifies acne-prone and oily skin. You are a great candidate for Dermal Infusion if you have any skin concerns that can range from a dull complexion to clogged pores, and fine lines to acne scars.

Dermal Infusion FAQ's

Does Dermal Infusion hurt?

Dermal Infusion is a non-invasive treatment that gently, yet effectively exfoliates. Little to no pain is involved in the process. The sensation during the procedure is similar to the feeling of light sandpaper gently brushed across the face. You may experience some slight redness that will fade quickly.

What serums are used in Dermal Infusion?

There are four serums available in a Dermal Infusion treatment: Vitamin C, a brightening serum, hydrating hyaluronic acid serum, and pore clarifying serum. A custom blend will be selected for you, based upon your skin concerns.

How many Dermal Infusion sessions will I need?

It is recommended for most patients to have four to six treatment sessions spaced out over two to three months. The team at Laser Cliniqúe can best guide you so that you achieved the desired results.

Are there any risks to Dermal Infusion?

Since Dermal Infusion is a non-invasive treatment, there is very little to no risk involved. If you have acne-prone skin, you may experience more breakouts afterward as your skin balances out. You may also experience some slight redness for a few hours after the treatment.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Updated May 20th, 2020

Effective immediately the following will occur:

  • 1. We have received clearance from San Diego county and are now open and seeing patients
  • 2. We require any person entering our office to wear a mask or face covering
  • 3. Under federal anti-discrimination laws, we have the right to refuse service to any person for any reason except for race or color

We are constantly updating our services and staffing according to the local and national recommendations and will always place your health and well-being as our top priority.

We have added a new filtration system with bipolar ionization attached to multiple HVAC systems throughout our office and had HEPA filters installed. This filtration system is similar to ones that are in hospital operating rooms. It will create reduced virus zones. We also spray the entire office at night with Electrostatic which generates charged droplets that repel one another and actively seek out environmental surfaces, which they stick to and even wrap around to coat all sides and disinfects bacteria and viruses off any surface within 2 minutes.

If you are sick or mildly sick, please stay home. If you are suffering from any of these symptoms such as fever, cough, fatigue, no appetite, shortness of breath, sputum production, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea or body ache please reschedule your appointment. We will reschedule your appointment without penalty or fees after 14 days.

We continue to exercise all the latest recommendations that are handed down by the CDC. These include:

  • Staff have been fully informed and trained to understand the disease process and its modes of transmission.
  • All staff, vendors and ancillary personnel are being asked to refrain from coming to this office if they have any signs or symptoms of a cold or an upper respiratory tract infection.
  • Every patient is also being asked to refrain from coming to the office if they have any symptoms.
  • We are asking our patients about any pertinent travel history.
  • Hand-washing continues to be the most important mode of prevention. Although it is a part of what we constantly do, now we are doing so with heightened vigilance and attention.
  • We have instituted a “no handshakes no hug” policy for now.
  • We have asked all vendors that any unnecessary meetings are canceled until further notice.
  • Any exit and entrance from our office are followed by a protocol of changing shoes, scrubs and sanitization.
  • As we are an accredited medical facility, we are constantly sanitizing all surfaces. We have now vamped that up and our routine, multiple times a day, wiping down all surfaces, desks, door handles, keyboards and restroom facilities. We have assigned a person that does so on a constant basis.

Although Covid-19 is a serious issue, we strongly believe that it will pass and hopefully make our infrastructure and our ability to deal with pandemics in this Country even better than it currently is. We are monitoring this situation on a real-time basis and will not sit back until we know that we have done everything possible to avoid unnecessary exposure.
