Chemical peels are most commonly performed for cosmetic reasons.   "Chemical peel" is a general classification for a number of chemical treatments used to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. Typically during a chemical peel nothing actually "peels" off. A chemical solution is applied to the skin, and works by dissolving the upper layers of the skin. As the tissue is dissolved, a wound is created on the skin which stimulates the body's healing response, causing new tissue to emerge. The depth and strength of the 'peel' varies based upon the strength of the chemicals used and the length of time the solution is applied. They are used to enhance your appearance and your self confidence. Chemical peels may also remove pre-cancerous skin growths, soften acne facial scars and even control acne.

 

 

1. Glycolic Peel:   Glycolic acid peels removes the top layer of dead cells on your skin, revealing a new layer that is smoother-textured and more vibrant-looking. These peels help with fine lines, minor skin discolorations (such as age spots & sun spots), and dry patches known as solar keratoses. They’re also useful for treating acne and for removing or minimizing old acne scars.  Glycolic Peels also help stimulate production of collagen.

 

2. Modified Re Vitalize Peel:  This is a medium strength chemical peel has dramatic results with little or no downtime and is safe for all skin types. This peel improves the skins texture, tone, creates a softer, younger looking complexion.  Peeling will occur 2-3 days after the treatment and usually lasts a few days.  Modified Re Vitalize Peel is effective for pigment changes caused by acne scarring, photodamage (sun damage), age spots, freckles, melasma (from hormone changes), and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This peel tightens pores, improves skin texture, and smoothes ruddy complexions.

 

3. TCA Peel:  This chemical peel uses a solution that penetrates deeper into the skin to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers.
